Friendship Club

We meet every Wednesday from about 2pm to 4 pm. We are a group of ladies aged from 65 to 92 years but we welcome people younger or older. The ladies are a very friendly group, we have quite a few different things going on.

We play Bingo, have a Quiz, chair aerobics, we do arts and craft by making cards for birthdays and Christmas. Sometimes we just sit and chat and we really enjoy that. Not a week goes by without lots of fun and friendship. We look after each other and keep in touch between meetings.

We have recently been to Battler's Green Farm for lunch and a bit of shopping. This year we have been to the Cotswolds on a beautiful day out and a wonderful cream tea at the Airport at Elstree. Each week we have tea and scones or bread and butter with jam, lot's of cakes and sometimes we provide trifles or just a little something extra from time to time. We are very good at discussion on any subject, serious or lighthearted and we all listen to each others ideas.
