Church House is available to hire for an extensive range of events. We can help you if you are looking to hire a hall to host a children's party, a wedding reception or a special birthday/family celebration.
Our hall, which is located in the heart of Stanmore is a mock medieval hall, which is used for various events and by a Montessori school during weekdays throughout term time, but it is also available for regular or one-off hires. The hall is especially popular for weddings, engagements, children's parties and family celebrations and we welcome all enquiries.
Whilst the hall is used during the daytime, there are some evenings available for longer term hire such as drama groups/exercise classes. Please contact us for further information if you are looking for a regular booking.
Location:
The hall address is: Church House, Old Church Lane, Stanmore, HA7 2QX (please note we are not located next to the church but on Old Church Lane).
Hall Dimensions:
The hall measures 76ft in length, 18ft wide and 10ft high (7ft under the balcony area) and has a maximum capacity of 120 people.
Facilities:
There is a large kitchen connected to the main hall which is well equipped with an oven, hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. We have a hygiene rating of 5 (October 2023).
We also have a large outside space which is perfect for picnics, BBQs or children's activities such as soft play or bouncy castles. There is no direct access to the road, making it an ideal space for children to run around and enjoy themselves. (Please note we do not allow music outside, as we are in a residential area).
The hall hire charge includes tables (6ft x 2.5ft) , chairs, kitchen, wifi, male/female toilets, baby changing facilities, high chairs and a large outside space.
